Michigan History Collides: One-of-a-Kind Knife

A knife collaboration of two Upper Peninsula Michigan founded businesses. More than 140+ years of history between the two businesses.

Stormy Kromer is built off independence, wit and grit of the upper Midwest. It all started with a cap. The Stormy Kromer brand was founded in 1903 when George "Stormy" Kromer asked his wife, Ida, to sew an earband onto his baseball cap. The cap was designed to keep his ears warm and the hat snug on his head after he lost many hats while working as a railroad engineer.

The knife that has been designed, represents a legacy, durability, and hard work. From the expertly sewn sheath to the durable D2 Rockwell hardness blade, to the perfected curly maple handle. This knife is built to get the job done, while being an eye magnet to knife collectors.

This knife will feature a hand sewn sheath with signature trademarked Stormy Kromer fabric, engraved Stormy Kromer signature on both the blade and sheath, and a certificate of authenticity.

There will only be 500 total of these knives made. EVER. Launching October 1st, 2024.

Each knife is made by hand. Each knife is number, starting with 001. Each knife comes with a hand sewn sheath that can be worn vertically or horizontally, featuring Stormy Kromer Trademarked Fabric. Only the first 200 knives are GUARANTEED to be delivered by Christmas 2024!

I have purchased a couple knives here. One was a gift and one was for myself. It is the go-to knife that I use for everything. I had a little piece of the handle come off at least 4 years after I bought the knife and they repaired it while I waited.
