We at Rapid River Knifeworks believe it does and that our company is a shinning example that the dream is alive and well. modestly born in 2002, Rapid River Knifeworks began in a small barn workshop. The business model was simple yet powerful. Our vision was to continue the great centuries old tradition of building quality knives and axes in Delta County Michigan

To this day. We hold the framework that our products are handmade using ONLY AMERICAN STEEL and would carry a lifetime warranty. Why some may ask? We stand behind out knives. We owe it to you to provide knives and gear that reflects one thing, the American way. The response was overwhelming and so positive that it fueled our desire to grow and expand out product line with a greater variety of high quality knives and axes.
More than just making knives
To this day our knives are in the hands of thousands of people worldwide and sold through over 400 retailers. Since 2002 our variety of American blades and handle materials has proved to be extremely popular amongst sportsmen and women, farmers, foresters, construction workers, and collectors. We have a duty to uphold in the knife making community & that is keep delivering that same quality & keeping our local small town connection with our customers.
