    The Stockman Pocket Knife Breakdown

    Who's this knife for?

    The Stockman is the traditional folding pocket knife for the man who's carried one every day of his life. This isn't a tactical folder or a modern flipper. It's a classic three-blade stockman pattern built for the rancher, farmer, hunter, and outdoorsman who uses a pocket knife as a tool, not an accessory. Three blades means you always have the right edge for the job. A clip blade for general cutting and detail work, a sheepsfoot for flat cuts and scraping, and a spey blade for skinning small game and precision tasks. Checking fence, cutting baling twine, scoring a line, cleaning a fish, whittling at camp, opening feed bags. Instead of wearing down one blade on everything, you rotate through three and each one stays sharper longer. If your dad carried one and his dad carried one, you already know what this knife is for.
    Blade specs and steel

    X50CrMoV15 stainless steel, hardened to 55-57 HRC. X50CrMoV15 gives you corrosion resistance for a knife that lives in your pocket through sweat, rain, snow, and daily use without rusting or pitting. Three-blade configuration with two 2 1/8 inch blades and one 3 inch blade, giving you a dedicated blade for detail work, general cutting, and heavier tasks without carrying three separate knives. Overall knife length is 8 1/8 inches open. Blade thickness is .0625 inches.
    Handle material and grip

    Available in multiple handle options. Handle length is 4 inches closed. Each handle is hand-fitted and finished with a traditional profile that sits flat in your pocket without bulk. Smooth, clean lines with no snag points on clothing or pocket lining. Hand assembled in Rapid River, Michigan.

    Care and maintenance

    RRK knives are built for hard use in the field, shop, kitchen, and everyday carry. To keep your knife performing at its best, proper care and routine maintenance are recommended.

    After each use, hand wash the knife with soap and warm water, then dry it completely. Do NOT place your knife in the dishwasher. Apply a light coat of food-safe mineral oil or knife-specific blade oil after cleaning to help protect the blade and maintain the finish, especially for knives used in the kitchen or around moisture and acidic foods.

    Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, saltwater, blood, or acidic materials, and never leave the knife stored wet or dirty. For long-term storage, keep the knife in a cool, dry location and avoid storing it inside a leather sheath for extended periods.

    To maintain the edge, use a leather strop or carbide sharpener between full sharpenings. Avoid power grinders or excessive heat during sharpening, as overheating can damage the blade’s heat treatment and edge retention.

    Shipping and delivery

    Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–4 business days. Due to the handcrafted nature of RRK knives, custom laser engraving requests, and seasonal order volume, processing times may vary.

    Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. Shipping protection is available for purchase at checkout for added protection against lost or damaged packages during transit.

    There is also an option at checkout to pick up your order in-store at no charge if you plan to be in the area. Once your order is ready, the RRK team will contact you so your knife is ready and waiting when you arrive.
